We specifically design our studios to be under 120 square feet (or 10x12 ft,8x15) to help streamline the building permit process for our clients. In many California jurisdictions, structures below this threshold often qualify for simplified permitting or, in some cases, no building permit for the structure itself, provided they meet setbacks and do not include plumbing. We make the permitting as hassle-free as possible.

"Turn-key" means we handle everything entirely. Our service includes design, delivery, site preparation, foundation, complete construction and finishing (including electrical wiring, lighting, and interior finishes), and final cleanup. When we leave, your studio is ready to be used.

Most of the build happens offsite at our factory. On-site construction typically takes 5 to 10 days. We aim to have your studio ready for use within 4 to 8 weeks. The total timeline can vary based on local permit requirements and site complexity.

Hardwiring Option: If you choose to include a mini-split HVAC unit or require a higher electrical load, we will hardwire the studio directly to your main electrical panel to ensure safe and code-compliant power delivery. We include this hardwiring service in the quote for any studio with a mini-split.

For clients who need a larger space, a specific layout, or integrated plumbing (like a bathroom or kitchenette), we offer full custom design and build services.
